At 350 Wisconsin Action, our mission is clear: electing climate champions who will fight for climate justice and sustainability at every level of government. As the April elections approach, we know that the choices we make in the voting booth will have a profound impact – not only on our ability to confront the climate crisis, but also on the strength of our democracy and our fundamental rights.
We know that there are spectacular climate champions running for office around the entire state, but we have chosen to focus our endorsements on communities where we will have an on-the-ground presence in the community through the April election. If your community’s elections aren’t covered here, we encourage you to check out the endorsements of our allies and partners!
We are proud to announce our endorsements for candidates who are ready to meet this moment.
State Supreme Court of Wisconsin:
Judge Chris Taylor
Judge Chis Taylor has demonstrated a commitment to democracy and justice throughout her career as an attorney, public servant, and judge. By electing her to the court, we can expand the right to vote in one of the most politically competitive states in the country, and strengthen protections of our lands, water, and air for future generations.
Local Leaders:
Local leaders are crucial for climate action because they make critical decisions about clean air and water, transportation, and energy use. They have become especially important with the wave of massive hyperscale data centers that are threatening our communities and our planet. Local leaders have also become the front lines of defending our democracy and fundamental rights.
We’ve endorsed candidates for county board and city council who understand what’s at stake and are committed to building sustainable communities.
